Emily Johnson - Dental Hygienist
Originally from England, Emily completed her Dental Nursing certificate in 2007 and realised that wasn’t enough; she loved teeth so much that she had to go further and study Oral Health Therapy! Emily joined us in 2014 after completing her degree at Curtin University and our patients just love her. Emily has a very kind and caring nature, she is kept busy in her spare time with her new blue Staffordshire bull terrier puppy which has a lot of energy! Emily also loves to go out in her family boat; and her favourite sport is snow skiing!
Periodontal disease is a destructive, progressive process causing the loss of attachment and support of the surrounding tissues of the teeth. As a dental hygienist, my role is to treat these areas by removing the calculus and bacteria contributing to the disease progression. I am qualified to treat periodontal pockets of up to 5mm.
Dr Kerrisk and I adopt a team approach to stabilise and maintain periodontal health, with Dr Kerrisk treating the pockets of 6mm or deeper.
Faun - Front Office Manager
Meet the lovely Faun, who is our bubbly and friendly Front Office Manager. Faun is an asset to our team and keeps our days running smoothly. In her spare time, Faun loves spending family time with her little boy who is growing up so fast! Faun also has a blue staffy puppy which she loves, but together with her son makes a lot of trouble! We are very lucky as Faun has a talent for making coffee, so she makes good use of our in house coffee machine which keeps us all going!
Dianne - Dental Receptionist
Dianne and Peter used to work together at another practice; and now that we have taken Dianne on here we all have realised it was an excellent decision! Dianne is great fun and is always smiling, we are so lucky to have her on board. In Dianne’s life away from work she loves catching up with her 2 sons and 5 grandchildren and enjoys horse riding!
