I’m missing all my teeth. How many implants would I need?

A CT scan will be needed to evaluate how much bone is present, and where and how many implants would be required (along with an analysis of how heavy your bite will be on the implants). In General, the following graphics illustrate what common options are available.

With two implants a denture can provide marked support, via attaching it to two implants. This denture is “fixed” to the implants; however is a “removable” prosthesis

With four implants, a fixed bridge may be attached. This is NOT a removable prosthesis
